CamBam help (General usage) / age old saying I need some help please

Hello guys  and gals,  I got an age old message here and I can't remember what causes it. " Object reference not set to an instance of a object. I am just going to engrave a sign. I started out with the sign on the wrong axis so I rotated it it and now I get this old saying.

Hello, I had to reload my cambam. In the process I lost my post processor. Can't for the life of me remember how to get it to appear in the post list under the  system tab.I put it in the file under cambam in the program files . I just can't see it in the system file list of processors. Da.

Hello all;  I guess I've run into a question  here. I want to open some outside drawn dfx  files and merge them toghether. In other words they are on a couple of different pages. I want to slide the pages together But, I can't open them on different layers. I must be trying to do a no no ,eh?When I make a layer and open a file, all works fine. I hide that layer and open another layer ,that works fine. Now I try to reopen the hidden layer and it has vanished. Am I doing something wrong or can this not be accomplished . Thank you Chuck

How everyone. I don't use my cambam much and I thought I might have forgotten something here. I'll draw a simple square,and setup  an outside profile cut . When I make a tool path ,it radius's the outside corners. What am I doing wrong . If I setup an inside profile , then it'll cut a square corner. Could someone enlighten me on this please. CamBam help (General usage) / need help please

Due to a computer glitch I had to reload cambam.I have an old post pros.called Quickstep. The problem I have is with the G code. Cambam makes standard G code in an NC.file In other words, G  G1  G2  G3 and so on . I have to have a code written like this ,G0   G01   G02   G03. I have to have the zero in there, or things won't work. I had someone here show me about ten years ago ,and not doing this every day I don't remember how it was  done . I do remember It was easy , but I'm not much help . Thanks for the help in advace. Chuck

Hello everyone; I've a question . I have several plugins listed in the plugin folder in the plugin folder in cambam. When I'm drawing , how do I access them. I tap the plugin menue on the screen, and the only things that show are what comes as default.None of the recent additions.

Hello everyone; I recently upgraded my computor to win 7. At the same time I upgraded my cambam to the "N" version. I also have cutviewer with it. I can run cutviewer as a stand alone and it works as it should. Here is my problem . I make my part in cambam.  I then try to run the code from cb. by clicking on tools , sim with cutviewer. I get this error that says,"C:\ program x86cambam 0.9.8 file not found. What do I have to do to get this to work ? Thanks, Chuck

Installation Help / need a nudge here

Hello all, I just switched my op. system to win. 7. Back on my xp sys. my post pros. were all stored in a file called posts in cambam program files on  my C drive. I look in C drive now and I don't see the file" posts" listed. How or where do I load my post pros. Kinda dead in the water here. Thank you . Chuck

I'm in a quandry . I made a file in metric . Saved as .cb.  Worked with it a couple of times. Then I tried to convert it to inches. I used the trans form  mm to inches. I applied it and clicked ok. That's the last time I've seen my file . What could I have done or where did this thing go?  I have some files that were saved but they say windows can't open them, and cb can't either..I can't give you the file  cause I don't got it.Maybe someone could offer some help. I can redraw but I want to try and recoup my time. I'm using the latest version N.  Thank you.  c.sitas

Hello  all;  I am using the N version. I try to move the drawing , select all, hold shift and left mouse and drag. I loose sight of my drawing until I release the mouse.You can make the move but it involves screwing around . I can make the move work if I select one object , press control and select the other object. Things work right this way. What the--?
