In my system I have two hard disks, one with windows XP and everything I use day to day and a second smaller one only with XP, Mach3 and Cambam.

The main disk has the antivirus installed and is instructed to scan both drives, but when I start on the second disk as this one has no antivirus program ( neither internet acces and so on ) , there is nothing disturbing the work, and has proved to be a very good solution. I have both drives virus checked and no intrusions while machining.

Many thanks for all your ideas, I am going to try the latest betas.... I have no tried them because due to the actual situation I can not afford to buy it and if I dont know what I'm missing i will not miss it

Yes to the point about "blocks" and right now I am doing as Don says, I have a file with all the designs and use those that I need. It is not the best but it works correctly.

Excuse me if I did not explained it very well in my first message but english is not my born language.

What do you mean by an 'object' - some geometry that's got a MOP associated to it?

I mean something like a copule of circles and a polyline that defines a sub-d connector cutout or a group of polylines that define a fan cutout.

I have been using the free version of cambam for some time and am very happy with it ( hope to buy the full version some time )

Most of the things I do are very simple front and rear panels for my electronic projects with things like sub-d connectors and so on.

Now I'd like to know if there is some way to create a library of objects that I can re use.

Probably there is a very simple way to do that and I am missing it
