all of the old code runs fine the new code has a problem with the z.i'm building a vacuum box so it's basically a bunch a holes the first hole is barely touched and the second hole isn't even touched because the z has risen E STOP is hit at this point.this problem started about a week ago .AVG was purchased and a scan indicated no threats.drawings are produced by cambam and i'm also using mach 3 with my machine.seems like i picked up a bug somewhere.mach 3 was selected as the default post processor.yes i'm a complete newbie to the cnc world.
am i missing something here. Thanks for any help, and have a good day.

CamBam help (General usage) / Re: M06?
« on: July 28, 2015, 20:13:35 pm »
Learning curves blow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After doing a little reading and some investigation on mach 3's sight i found their video on vb script editor.
As stated in an earlier post mach will request a tool change location through the use of M6 , which makes practical sense in retrospect because their is no tool loaded in the WOOD ROUTER.Yes a porter Cable 75812, on a home built cnc.So any way , M6 requested, move to Manual tool change location, also at this point i think that the limit switches must be active since mach is looking at machine coordinates .Let me know if i'm on track here.So i'm starting to get the importance of the tool selection table, as a use of specific tool use and identification. So build the list if it's your tool isn't there. So basically every time a different tool is requested an M6 pops up sending the router to a the tool change location and awaits a cycle start button push to resume running code?WOW all over an M6.As always thanks for all the help.If i missed something please let me know

                                                                                                                     Thanks Guy's

Well months ago a friend was doing programming with cambam, applied a tool change for the first time, M06 and now it pops up on all my code.Asked him what he had done couldnt remember. Said it might have something to do with the postprocessor .Selected Mach 3 from the drop down menu and applied it.Still have the same problem , no cure yet.Work around is to ignore tool change in mach 3.At this point i would like to be able to use manual tool change funtion but cant.what am i missing? AS AWAYS THANKS IN ADVANCE.
