Cutting foam yesterday, an unfamiliar material to me, I opted for a cautious DOC so I could try and remove the slivers with a vac and prevent (as much as possible) the strip wrapping around the bit.
To make said strip as small as possible I opted for vertical hatch as on the longest width slot, this reduced the strip from 370mm to 50mm - it helped!
It occured to me, ignoring my over cautious DOC, the whole thing could have been faster with bi-directional hatch, but I couldn't see how or if this was possible?
Can the pocket MOP set on vertical or horizontal be set to cut back & forth?
