Highlighted Operation
« on: September 25, 2022, 22:09:35 pm »
I've never used this view option, but I have seen it mentioned a couple times.  How do you set CB to just show the toolpaths for the currently highlighted operation without turning off all the other operations?

I did a quick look, but I must have missed it.
Getting started on CNC?  In or passing through my area?
If I have the time I'll be glad to show you a little in my shop.

Personally, I just disable all the MOps except the one I wish to see, Bob.  If there's a better way, I'd love to know it, too!

hello

A video ;)

https://www.screencast.com/t/8yaFfOPE

with those settings, if you select a mop, you get the toolpath for only this mop, if you select a CamPart you get all the toolpath for the CamPart.

you can use the mouse wheel after you have clicked in the "toolpath number" box to change the value.

edit: and I forgot ... Toolpath visibility set to Selected only.

Thank you David.  I was not looking in the right spot.

LLoyd, the most frustrating part is I am pretty sure I have used the feature before.

A very precious feature. And somewhat hidden from the user.
I don't remember whether I discovered it myself or was given a clue from a forum member (David perhaps).
I included it in the default CB template and every new project has the option set by default.
If you need to see more than one toolpath Ctrl-click and selected toolpats will be visible. Even from different parts.

Nice. Another useful feature I didn’t know about!
