I have a DXF with holes.
The options are, Spiral mill, Canned cycle and Custom.
How do I do a simple drill, eg
G00 X10 Y10 Z3
G01 Z-5
G00 Z3
Do I need points instead of holes in the DXF ?

I'm not often able to offer advice on this forum but this subject has excercised my mind on more than one occasion
It depends upon the size of the hole and the size of the tool available. If the tool (Drill,Mill,Burr) is the same size as the hole than [Canned Cycle] is the way to go. If the hole is larger than the tool then [Spiral Mill].
There are many other options that need to be set - but that's the basics.
