it is not possible to register in the forum.
You constantly get an error message about a captcha with letters
"The letters you typed don't match the letters that were shown in the picture."
There is no picture with letters

Yes the Captcha registration image has been disabled since the crash on June (last registration 9 June 2023) , I don't know if it is Andy's wish or not and He still not reply to this question (I asked 3 times by mail without success) so I hesitate to enable it again without his acknowledgment ...

Also, I no longer get the notify mail when a reply is done (or any other notification) .... is this the same for you ?

I also no longer get notifications when replies to my posts.
But the option in my profile "Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic." was also disabled. So I have to activate this every time under "Attachments and other options". And I always forget to do that. I have now re-enabled it in my prifile and will see if anything changes.

One captcha and the security questions should be enough to prevent bots. If the captcha with the letters was disabled, the absence would not be displayed as an error.
Maybe you can make it so that one captcha works and the other is completely disabled.
A user logged into my forum and reported this error. But I do not want to be a replacement for this forum.

I'm going to activate the captcha.. and we'll see if it works ... 

For me notifications are turned on .. but not working ... even notifications specifics to admin are broken too ; I tried to change my contact Email with no luck too.

It does not work to create a new account.
I get the error message with the missing letters twice now.
There must have been a letter captcha that looks like the one I attached. There are only letters displayed and you have to enter them. Something is still hanging in there.
I don't get email notifications either.
How far does your server access go? Can you work properly on the software?

I don't have any access to the server itself. (ie, when the forum is crashed, I can't do anything more that any other user) ...I'm admin, not webmaster

I tried another captcha (more simple) and I disabled the 2 verification questions .... can you have a new try ?

Hallo David,

Still the same problem.
There is an empty field at the bottom of the registration form and when I try to register a new account I get the two error messages.
