Plugins on Windows 7
« on: February 05, 2024, 12:34:02 pm »
Our little CNC machine uses Mach 3 with Smooth Stepper on a Windows 7 laptop.  I installed CamBam on the laptop and it works fine except for plugins.  On startup it complains about CAS issues with .NET 4.  Any ideas how to fix this?  Not anxious to upgrade Windows as I didn't set this computer up in first place and it runs the machine just fine.

Gary,

Download and install .NET 4.8 is probably the answer.

Watch this video though on how to to make it work, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3P4gKw0PF4

Thanks,
I’ll have try that. We have 2 VMCs, a Prototrak and a CNC but this little machine will still be useful as we do lots of prototyping.
