Coolant activation

How would add the M7 and M9 for coolant activation automatically without editing G-code?

If even you don't know how I guess the only way is a next version of CB where coolant/vacuum is an option in the MOP properties.
Which is like a letter to Santa. :)

Add those to your post processor's spindle-on control sequence.

Hello

It will start to become worrying if one day you no longer remember where your CNC is located.  ;D ;D

I, like one of the old posters, have a manual button with which I can override coolant, if I do not wish it to run.

Since I need coolant for nearly every operation I run, I far prefer to have it in the post-processor, where it turns on for EVERY MOp, without my having to remember to insert the commands in the 'MOps of my choice'.  Then, if I don't wish coolant for a particular one, I just tap the button, and it's off.

It's a whole lot safer to have it running when you didn't need it, than forgetting to turn it on when you did!

I have a style libraries per machine and per material.  For all my styles where I want to run coolant I just add it to the header and footer. For my aluminum libraries the default style has coolant on/off in the header/footer.  For those with a manual switch, you can set up a microswitch to turn it off at your safe Z park height so you it doesn't running continuously when the machine finishes a job and the head goes to its stop height (assuming you programmed it to).

Maybe I wasn't clear, Bob.  Mine also turns OFF after every MOp is finished.  It's just in the post, instead of the MOp's header and footer.

Since 99.5% of everything I mill is aluminum, that fits for me.
