How to join the forum, create an account ?

Because the registration system of the forum is broken, it is not possible to an user to create an account currently.

If you want to join the forum, please use the Contact form and ask for a new account, give me the user name you want to use and I'll create the account for you and return a password by mail. (it may take one or two days)

additional informations for new users

It is not possible to reply to an existing post for a new user, you must create a new topic.

Select a section where you want to post a new topic (ex: camBam Help) then use the "new topic" button on the top of the page.

Once the new topic has been created it will not appears immediately on the forum, and needs to be approved (by me) to appears.

Approval is needed only for your first message.

After this, you can reply to any topic.

How about doing two things.  Add a welcome personal message that includes. "You must make an introductory post."  Create a new board on the forums titled new member introduction right under latest news.

Yep but the registration is no longer working since the crash of October 2023 and I must generate the new accounts myself ... and also the mail system no longer works too, so no way to send the "registration agreement" to the user or to activate the account himself ... nor to get mail notification or anything else that use the mail ...

For the board for "new user introduction", yes this exist on most forums and certainly I can add one ... but not sure it is really useful on a forum that is out of order half the time and where users can't register themself ... !

I really hope that Andy will fully repair/update the forum and the server(*) a day so it work as it should !!! but currently, still radio silence ...

(*) because the website always become unavailable some days after the forum has crashed, I suspect that the problem is not only the forum but certainly the server itself ..

Contacting me through my business contact form worked for Jens, but its a pretty far reach around.

The contact form is working ... when the site is working or if the guy have the mail address, have a look at the first post. (this is the same mail where falls the licenses orders)

David I just tried to upload an update for the mop editor and couldn't it to work
the preview worked but not the upload, at first the reply was file to big but these
are smallish zip files. 35 kb and just under half a meg, I'll try again tomorrow night.

I had trouble then successfully uploaded the mop editor, however when trying to add an update
to that thread again it failed so I'll upload a couple of pics and if that works, I'll post the update
for the mop editor later as I'm ready to machine my machine base.
