No Grid Visible - New Laptop Windows 11

Setting up a new laptop so I can get some work done while traveling, and everything seems to work so far, but I can't get the grid to show in CamBam. 

Surfaces look like surfaces.  2D and 2.5D geometry shows normally.  I just can't get the grid to show up.  I selected grid true in the options, and set a reasonable grid size, major, and minor lines, and even changed the grid color just in case it just wasn't showing. 

I don't recall any issues with this on the last W11 PC I setup, but I haven't really started using that one yet.

The closest I have found to this problem is somebody who posted about changing their grid to black and not being able to see it.  Then when they changed it to any other color they still couldn't see it.  When I did the install here grid was set to black, and i have since tried lime green and red, but nothing is visible.  Everything acts as if the grid is there, but it doesn't show when set true or false.
