Body 3D simulation
« on: November 26, 2010, 22:54:33 pm »
Hello  :)

This day I play with 3DSmax and CB 3D functions.

The goal is to do a 4 faces machining of a women body (without 4th axis), for this I use 4 cb files.
I don't test it in real .... -5° in the garage  :'(

The stock is a square of 42 mm x 100 mm long

tools: Ø 6mm endmill and Ø 3mm bullnoze

You can download the .cb, .nc and .stl file of the 4 faces here. (Warning it stay only a month on server, say me if link is dead ...)

A movie of the simulation (4 faces with cutviewer and the end with 3Dsmax)

(I don't find how to insert directly a youtube video)

Nice one.

The simulation looks good, but I had an error when I tried to look into the MOP's (see attached).

Could it be that a 0.98 .cb file needs to include styles in order to be fully transportable?
Or is it me messing up again?

Steve

Hello,

Yes it's because you have not this styles in you library.

I think you can use the file whithout my styles but it's hard for me to explain that in English  ::)

You can find my standard-mm lib. in attachment, it's more simple  ;D think to save your's standard-mm before replacing ! or maybe rename mine ..
