Display Object(s) Extrema in the Status Bar, "ShowExtrema" Plugin

In conjunction with the discussion I have generated in the Centroid plugin thread regarding disparity between that plugin's calculation of centroid positions and this one.
Is there any way to easily extract (copy/paste) the position coordinates from the information posted to the task bar (preferred) or alternatively export the content of the message panel to a text file for extraction (least preferred).
If you prefer, should I add this as a feature request?

Use menu item, Tools->Get object Extremas
This will put the information in CamBam's message window, now use this plugin http://www.atelier-des-fougeres.fr/Cambam/Aide/Plugins/MessageLogCopy.html, and paste the results into Notepad for example.
