Display refresh in real time
« on: September 09, 2013, 07:28:10 am »
As far as I can notice, display drawing functions take a lot of computing power especially if grid and/or cut widths are turned on.
One thing I noticed and IMO may be optimized is the following:
There is a polyline with a profile MOP with tabs assigned to it. I turn on  the grid display and use it to manually move some of the polyline points snapping them to the grid. Every point movement though causes immediate  recalculation of the tabs and their redrawing on the screen. Maybe it's a good idea to disable toolpath and tab refresh during polyline edit mode. And re-enable after editing is done.
