Nice!!  I love it when I can use my CNC machine to make 'tools' or piece parts to make other tools more useful.  Nice job

That's a nice looking tool.  Let me ask a question that might sound (no, might BE) silly...

Why cut the rosettes by hand, when you already have a CNC machine?

If you were using a drag knife, I could understand (almost), but that looks like a router mounted on the tool.

great questions.

I want to put as much handcraft into the guitar as I can.

Im making jigs and tools to make the guitar by hand.

Back to old school roots.

Thomas, there's nothing wrong with that.  In fact, that's probably the only good reason not to do it with CNC.

Good on you!  I've built a fair bit of fine furniture, and have done several pieces with hand tools, only, in order to say that I did.  That is reason enough.
