Unless that version is the very last one, I think it would be more useful as educational materials than as a working basis for maintenance. (I'd die to get a look!

Andy made it clear that there were some fairly major 'overhauls' in past versions. Old code might not reflect the newest program organization, much less the exact code.
If it ever came down to a third party's having to take over the software maintenance (which I hope is never!), then it would be necessary for them to obtain the latest source, along with a full list of any tools and accessory software Andy was using at the time of divestiture.
