Administration of the forum
« on: March 20, 2015, 15:10:24 pm »
Hello,

As you can see, this night (I think) Andy give me administrator rights to do some "cleaning" on the forum.

Feel free to contact me about work that must be done (moving posts, removing reply, post to stick .. etc)

Now the registration on the forum need no approval from an admin, that means that we can encouter SPAM messages. I'll try to remove them ASAP, but of course I can't view all ; let me know if you falls on one I've forgotten.

As you know, English is not my natural language, and sometimes I don't understand messages, and I can have difficults to understand when things "go into a spin" (not sure it make sens in English?) so, I'll let users deal with this (rare) problem ;) .. and I would intervene only if "hard" moderation is needed.

Long life to CamBam

David

Congratulations, David :)
Good to see one old suggestion of mine finally came to life.
I have some experience with a forum based on the same engine so eventually I could help if there are questions.

With no criticism to Andy, it's great to have an "active" administrator here, again.

I know Andy is still working on CB, and I look forward to his upcoming versions.

In the meanwhile, David, I cannot think of anyone who would be better suited than you to manage things in his absence.

Congratulations David, I had expected this! between you and the LLoyd.
I recommend the LLoyd being the moderator on the forum.
And the name of LLoyd be color green as moderator.

Congrats David. CNC is a small world...
I hope it can give some spare time to Andy for new development, I'm fully supportive.

The main thing is that something has happened after a long spell of inactivity, and that is good.
What I'd like to see next is the 'News' section of the main website updated on a regular basis because I feel the lack of updates turn some potential customers away.

I'm suggesting Lloyd as co-Moderator. It would help in case when David is busy, but also as reward for his contributions to this forum.
