Thanks, ran it through the simulator and had a look at it in slow motion.
Nice!

i generated the program as i would program it on the Heidenhain "Heidi" control back in the days, when i was a toolmaker.. ( 3 months ago )

Profile smoothness is top priority for me, i think, no.. i KNOW, that on a decent machine, with the polyline offset function, one could easily mill out a punch and die to cut sheet plastics, or metals.. construct the punch polyline, and offset the polyline by 5% of sheet thickness, and 10% of sheet thickness.. use the 5% polyline to pre-machine both punch and die ( inside profile for the die, outside profile for the punch, finish machine the punch with the original profile, and finish the die with the 10% offset.. makin' a punch an die?.. easy as pie  ;D :D

Did you quite your tool maker job?
I saw the shop you work in at the cnczone forum where you have your machine pictures.

Do you not work there any more?

Nope.. don't work there anymore, not even for that company.. if they want to keep a toolmaker a happy toolmaker, then they should give him the jobs' he's supposed to do... and not some basic milling and drilling jobs got bored, and to make matters worse, a collegue of mine became more and more a pain in the butt... i wanted to become an engineer there.. my wish wasn't granted.. too bad.. for the company that is.. got a new job as an engineer, and a raise.. not to mention the amount of cash i save by cycling to work instead of Firing up my Matra Sportscar that consumes a litre of "Boom-juice"every 8 kms... yup.. it's a thirsty fella..

Sounds like you have some nice wheels between your ducati and sportscar.

I think you have a ducati?
Unless you meant your bicycle. ;D
