« on: January 27, 2016, 20:51:12 pm »
Hi ,

I am trying to run a small file with arc content . Drawing was made in autocad is is nothing different from my other drawings . When loeding this one cb  sees all arcs as invalid and cb ultimately stop running and act weird . Like is not coping with the arcs . I tried to redraw arcs but this is not even hapening. File Attached . I hope someone can assist here

original dxf file also added . only 1 part of the dxf is used and that is in the cb file

Hello,

In Autocad, you must export your DXF to Autocad2000 (AC1015) or autocad R12 (AC1009) format.

Your file is saved in Acad 2007/2009 (AC1021) Cambam can't read it.

CamBam doesn't like dimensions either, I opened it in Rhino, removed dimensions then saved.

Hi ,

this remains a problem even if i save on autocad 2000 . The arcs are invalid and not imported
the file from eddy imports the arcs but with a large qty of points which i did not had in the autocade drawing and arcfit doesnt help there . Why do I have problems on that file ? Every other file was also 2007 and worked fine?

it seems only arcs are creating problems

No idea ... I can't open your file nor in SolidWorks(2008), Illustrator(CS3) or Autocad(2002) ...

i see that the file from eddy is changing the arcs to a 2dpoly instead of an arc ? The file i just send is an arc saved in version 2007 and working in cb. Very strange all my drawings are in 2007 and working

Re

If I open Eddy's file on CB, no pb but if I try to 'insert arcs' in one of the ray of the "galaxy", I get the same 'invalid arcs' error and CB do strange things.

If I select all, then "center extent", this pb go out ... maybe a size limit in CB .. (your arc are at X=209000 and Y = -30153

Maybe try to set the origin at a more suitable position in Acad.

Yes, I do a simple test, I draw an arc in CB, then convert to polyline and remove arcs, the I set the arc at 209000 in X ... and same pb if I 'insert arcs' .. after some tests, it seems that the limit is ~ -100000 to +100000 ...

I don't know such plugin ... are you sure it's the right name ?

there is something called Mop Automate, but it's not a plugin but a bunch of example codes to write a script/plugin.
