Installing CamBam - THE SAME
« on: February 10, 2016, 16:26:22 pm »
I plan to install CamBam on my laptop so I can do some work while I am on the road this weekend.  (not while I am driving of course)  I'ld like to make it exactly the same setup as my desktop so I can pull tools, styles, use the same arc format, etc.  What do I need to copy from the desktop?

I realize the XML files are hidden, and not in the CB directory.

Getting started on CNC?  In or passing through my area?
If I have the time I'll be glad to show you a little in my shop.

Hello Bob

Use the menu Tools/browse system folder (in cambam) to find the whole file/folder and copy all.

after the new CB is installed, do the same to replace the installed files with those you have saved.

if you also use plugins, you must copy the plugins in the plugin folder (in C:\Program Files (x86)\CamBam plus 0.9.8\plugins)
