Installing plugins

I moved some new plugin DLL files into the plugins folder but don't see them in Cambam. Is there a step I missed?

No, just restart cambam ... but all plugins do dot appears in the plugin menu ; who are the missing ?

After CB as started, have a look in the log window if there is an alert message about a plugin.

How to install plugins on Windows OS

A list of plugins can be found here;

or here;

Plugins are files with a dll file extension, e.g. HeightMapPlugin.dll

Because the forum rules forbid attaching dll files it is common practice to zip them up into an
archive file, e.g.

Some version of Windows include zip/unzip functionality but there are also 3rd party utilities
such as 7-Zip;

1. Download the required plugin zip file to your computer.
    Sometimes there are several versions so it's important to select the correct one.
    Some versions may be old ones that have been superseded or they may be designed
    for different versions of CamBam such as v0.9.8 or v1.0 etc.

2. Unzip the archive file to reveal the dll and possibly other files such as a pdf manual.

3. Move the dll into the CamBam plugins folder.
    examples of where to find the folder,

    On Windows XP: C:\Program Files\CamBam plus 0.9.8\plugins
    On Windows 7: C:\Program Files (x86)\CamBam plus 0.9.8\plugins
    On Windows 7: C:\Program Files (x86)\CamBam plus 1.0\plugins

    Check that the dll file is 'unblocked', read this thread;

    If CamBam is running you may get an error that the dll cannot be copied, just close
    CamBam and retry.

4. Restart CamBam and the plugin should appear in the menu structure as indicated in the
    forum thread for that particular plugin, please check here;
