Would it take a lot of work to implement a Progress Bar or a Percentage Counter, to give us some indication of where CamBam's at?

For those large vector drawings it would be good to know how much longer it will take.

I third that!  :)

I did contemplate putting this into the 0.9.6 release, but it did involve making some bigger changes than I was happy with, when working toward locking things down for a public release.

This is now road-mapped for the GUI improvements planned in the next 0.9.7 release.
Another related feature will be the ability to abort long running operations, without needing to resort to task killing.
