Thanks, will try it tomorrow. :)

IIRC I was the one who gave the idea about pointer change over a snap point. I did not invent it, It is present in CorelDraw which I use constantly and I was missing in CamBam.
A very helpful feature. Together with the alignment and NumMove plugins.
I hope one day David will add an absolute positioning tab to the latter ;)

Ok... just did some snap and go testing in 0.98 and it worked as expected.  Very nice.

Your work on this is wonderful thanks! I'll be using this all the time from now on!

I was noticing that when a snap to grid function is turned off to make the snapping easier for your plugin, I can't snap to 0,0,0. Would that be something easy to do, so there wouldn't be a need to constantly turn snap to grid on and off?

Version 8.6 attached to first post.

Added snap point at 0,0,0

Good idea, it's useful.

I'm sure this has been suggested, but I think a change in pointer color would be less confusing than having the pointer disappear.  My brain still rebels at clicking the button when I can't see the pointer.  LOL.

Bob, for now just disable cursor hiding on the options form.

How do I know when it has selected a point then?

Because the snap point is 'sticky' like a magnet and that action is easily visible.
In addition the snap points are known in advance, e.g. line mid point, circle quad, intersection, etc.
I've never needed the cursor to change for my own use, it was added because JK suggested it and it sounded reasonable.
