« on: October 30, 2018, 14:09:03 pm »
Hello, there,
I am using a KOSY A4 CNC, does anyone have a postprocessor settings? ???
I want to buy the software only when the PP is working properly.

These are the manufacturer's specifications

Thanks for your support

Did you try it with the CamBam 'default' post processor ?
Made in England

Thank you for the quick reply.

yes i have tested the default PP, i have change some configuration which i can locate.
But now i get error which i can't narrow down.

For Example:

G0 X-76.0 Y-12.0 Z3.0 ... i get the error "Invalid movement X axis "

i was hoping someone already has a configured pp.

I'm almost sure it's not the PP. Some controllers need the machine to be hardware zeroed at startup. If not, the controller assumes some axis is going out of the hardware limits and stop execution.
A friend using UCCNC told me about a bug where there are number of subsequent work zero being set at different points then the controller gave a similar error. I.e. is not keeping the right machine coordinates regardless of the working coordinates set.

P.S. either that or you have not set the correct working coordinates in CamBam. But it is not its fault.

FWIW, a few years ago I had access to a Kosy-machine. First using NCCAD7, later NCCAD9. I made postprocessors that worked for me.
Please be carefull, test them first.
