printing
« on: July 20, 2019, 07:40:37 am »
Hi,

I noticed on CB when printing in black and white CB is printing everything as it should so no problem but when you select the color printing option he will only print colored lines and the original black lines are skipped so I do not get my full drawing when using color printing ?? Black is also a color ;D.

When printing in black and white all original colored lines are printed in black so why is it not working in the other way when printing color that black lines are also printed.

It seems that in color mode CB is only looking at the toolpath lines.

Regards
Michel

I can't do that after.

first picture: the drawing
second image: print in color
third picture: print in black/white

When printing in color, the white objects are not visible, which is correct.
The monochrome setting gives me the same result as the color printing, the white circle is not printed.
If the white circle is not printed there it would be the only thing I can criticize. If white is not printed because it is not a color, black should not be printed either. If white is handled as colour, it should be visible in monochrome.

Hello

Same for me, I can't redo this bug ; all black lines are printed in black in color mode too.

On AutoCAD, when printing, all the white lines are switched to black, so you can work with a black background and white lines on the screen, but when printing you get black lines.

@Michel: can you share the file (or just a part of the drawing) where you get this behavior ?

Hello

Now with V1 RC2

White now prints as black for monochrome and black/white modes.
For colour mode, will invert colour if it matches the background colour.
Note, this now also affects the display view, which should help whenever a layer colour matches the background.
Also added new ‘Line Width Scale’ property to printer options (default = 1).
A number > 1 will cause printed lines to be displayed with greater thickness.
A number < 1 will print very fine lines, but these may not be visible (depending on printer).
