Hello

Unfortunately, there is a lot that I can't convert because they are done with a more recent version of my visual studio installation (2010) ; I'm trying to update to community 2017 ... and for others the sources are not available.

David,

Can you make a list of all that need fixing ?

Time for bed here but I will try to recompile some tomorrow, they may be a way for the ones we do not have source for.

Hello Eddy

I just install VS2017 ... and it can load the jk source code on github, I just "convert" cb2cm and also test that the plugin works on both 32 and 64 bits.

I hope I'll be able to convert all for who I found source code.

Thanks guys for all your work.
I have spent time recently overhauling the Acme screws and replacing them for Ball screws with anti backlash nuts.  My old Elliott milling machine is back working as a CNC again.  Although i have reluctantly upgraded to windows 10 (what a mistake) and had to replace/reinstall softwre to have everything compatible and 64 bit, I have not yet messed with my Cambam build.  I will sit back and wait a few months befor taking on another mind melt, im sure by then you guys will have fixed all the plugins and dlls.

Looking forwrd to hearing about new features

Please keep damn good care of yourselves and stay well

all the best
Jason

Hello

Ok web site updated

http://www.cambam.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=4886.msg67460#msg67460

Currently I've not added the trochomop because it's an older version (2.2) the latest is 2.4 ... Dave or Eddy, do you have the latest sources ? ... if not I'll add the 2.2 for only 64 bit and keep the 2.4 for 32 bits.

@dave: I can't find the post about OnMassMopEditor on the forum, can you point it out for me please ? ... maybe the post have another name ?

I don't change the wrapper because the previous version is working on CB 64 bits.

David,

trochomop 2.4 is here; https://github.com/jkmnt/matmill/releases
I tried to recompile but could not see how to reference the "Triangle" code.

Hi David

I'll do break edges when I've fixed up the X64 version of CB.
It's running on my X64 Laptop but very slowly 20 seconds between selecting a entity
and it turning red and control handed back to me, during this time I get the whirling circle
of boredom and the screen becomes opaque and flashes. maybe it's a driver issue.
I repaired the installation at first, then re-installed completely without any plugins and still no joy.
the plugins are running at full speed just stuff in the drawing space seems to slow things down.

Hello Dave  ;)

Ah !!

What Andy said me by mail

Quote
I think some of the odd slow down errors seen on Windows 10 are windows update related - very frustrating, - hopefully the x64 version may be another option if this happens ?!

In this case it's maybe the 32 bits version the option for you  ;D ...

Hi Dave,

I am sorry to hear you are still having this problem.   ???
I hate doing the 'blame it on a windows update excuse'.
I actually had this same problem on a (previously working fine) old I5 windows 10 laptop, so I spent a lot of time investigating.  Even weirder, a release app launched through visual studio worked fine but same problems you described when run normally.  A few months later I went back to that machine and everything was working fine again.
In my case, it didn't appear to be a driver issue.  :-\

Does the 32 bit version work OK on you laptop?

Hi Andy

I'm not worried that the X64 version is playing up, It's installed on a laptop that I specifically bought to do the development work on my AI tool changers and only has Visual Studio,Wireshark and Hantec Oscilloscope software installed on it.

I installed CB on it only to test the X64 plugins, on the other hand if my trusty Win7 32 bit CB version went down I would show those girls at a Robbie Williams concert how to do hysteria properly.

I surfed this website and tried a few things found in the threads here but no joy.
I tried compatibility mode with win 8 and it seemed to be a little faster.
while it was running in this mode and after a while I got to draw a circle, and then clicked off it until it was de-selected and then  clicked back on it.

What I noticed was that the property panel for the circle dia, position ect, updated immediately then after maybe 10 seconds the circle became selected in the drawing view and then after a further 10-15 seconds the circle in the layer tree hi-lighted and became active.

I did check to see if dot net 3.5 was enabled and it was, but with two of the options turned off
so tomorrow I'll try with those options turned on, and if no joy then I'll install CB1.0 32bit and report the result.

David I have worked on the OnMassMopEditor plugin and added more values in the mops that can be changed
so wait a bit and I'll post the new one later sometime later this week.

Dave
