Looking for a basic tutorial for lathe in cambam
« on: January 07, 2021, 11:38:56 am »
One of the difficulties of a successful forum is that a search will often yield 17 pages of results and the topic  titles are  not always specific about the content.
This is the position I am finding myself in while looking for some kind of tutorial which will guide me to the settings for a simple turned conponent and its conversion into toolpaths and G Code.
I have converted a Boxford TCL 125 lathe  and am using Mach 3 at this stage .

The two standard Cambab tutorials dont seem to go there . I have found others on the web  which refuse to play because of a Flash player issue .
Can anyone point me to a decent one ???

Are you saying this one from the manual is not enough ?

At the same time it's always a good idea to try your best at creating a cb file, post it here on the forum and ask for input.

Likely not urgent but some feedback would help move things forward.
