Off-topic, but important
« on: September 06, 2021, 21:00:41 pm »
Folks, my brother-in-law of age 70 passed today due to Covid-19.  Please, if you haven't yet gotten protected, GET the vaccine!  I don't need to lose any more friends to this nasty disease.

Sorry about your loss, Lloyd. Unfortunately many bought in to the antivax BS. Not only in the US but in Europe as well. Sad.  Waiting for booster shot.

Steve,
Yes, he refused it.  He claimed it was "a government plot" to enslave us.  Sigh...

My grandson was vaccinated, and came home from school Friday and felt like he had a cold.  He tested positive for covid.  Then we found out he was with his news to us unvaccinated girlfriend the Saturday before!!!  She is sick and so is her unvaccinated mother!  My wife and I tested negative and I've worn an 95 mask since this whole mess started so this really pisses me off.  600,000 dead and people are still making excuses!!!  I keep wondering what those that get sick and don't die face in the way of medical bills.  A month in an ICU and you are probably a candidate for bankruptcy too.  I am surprised this isn't being discussed.

Yeah, Gary!  A DAY in ICU can cost you a year's labor!

A sad part of it all, it could have been avoided for the most part.. It's been proven many times over, once vaccinated, you may get sick but you won't die from it and certainly won't need a ventilator.

This best example when politics get in the way of science.

Well I guess he doesn't have to worry about being enslaved anymore. It's a  shame that someone would rather die than get the jab. If 300 million doses given doesn't convince you that the benefits outweigh the risks nothing will. Again sorry for your loss.

We need vigilanty vaccinators. Armed with hypademic nurdles, infiltrating unvaccinated groups and jabbing everyone in sight. Maybe a bounty paid for every person vaccinated. Rig the x-ray booths at the airport to give you a jab. Tranqilizer dart guns loaded with vaccine for the big animals you don’t want to get too close too.

Unfortunately i'm not in favor of forcing anybody to get vaccinated against there will. I'm sure there are people out there who shouldn't get it based on advise from there doctor. Too bad there are people who ignore there doctor and take advise from the "experts" on facebook and twitter.

Steve,
I agree that folks who are medically-limited should not be forced to take the vaccine.  But I also believe all healthy persons should get it, for the protection of those around them, if not for themselves.
