.NET Problem loading plugin(s) - Win11

Dear All,

since a few weeks i had to upgrade my work environment with state of the art PC hardware and i grabbed the opportunity to install Win11 as the new base as well.

Unfortunately i ran into the same problems i had encountered a few times on my old machine (Win10) and was able to solve it by updating bits and pieces of the .NET frameworks that existed on that machine.

So i have the following problem with all 3 CamBam installation (v0.9.8, 1.0(32bit and 64) on my new Win11 (German) system!

Here are the cambam info windows and the error messages.

Here ist the overview of the installed features of .NET on my Win11 system, as well as the contents of the .NET subfolders in the Windows directory itself.

Any ideas on how to get the problem solved are appreciated.

For CB0.98, the problem is that you installed a plugin that are done for CamBam V1.0 ; go to the plugin site and download the plugins for Cambam V0.98 (but unfortunately the 3Dmouse Plugin is only for CB1.0, but maybe you can ask to Eddycurrent if He still have a version for 0.98, but maybe it is better to upgrade to Cambam V1.0 because plugins will no longer by developed for 0.98)

For both the V1 - 32 and 64Bits, the problem is a windows security, you must follow this method to unblock and install plugins.

There is a problem with the Spacemouse driver and 0.9.8

I am running Windows 11 on a new PC.
Having recently installed the software I require, Visual Studio is now at version 2022 rather than the 2017 on my previous system.


I did not install CamBam 0.9.8. until just now, I'm trying to get away from it   
The plugin used to work on both CamBam versions but now it does not,  I shall try to compile a driver for 0.9.8.

The only .NET targets available are 3.0, 3.5, 4.8

If I target .NET 3.5 and reference the dll's from CamBam 0.9.8 the plugin works in both versions so I shall add this to the Spacemouse thread.

This did the trick! Thx! It totally skipped my mind that this could be the problem.
But after unlocking it works perfectly. 

Eddy,

i only installed v0.9.8 because 1.0 came up with this problem and in the past testing this with 0.9.8 became a custom to me. ;-)

Just downloaded and tested you new driver plugin and it works also perfectly with 0.9.8 as well! Thx.
